On yesterday's Sunday, September 17th, 2017, the summer school has started with about 20 participants including students and PhD students. Prof. Grzegorz J. Nalepa from the AGH University, Kraków, Poland, lectured on the research field of Multi-Paradigm Programming covering Decision Support Models, Semantic Knowledge Engineering, and Integration with Business Processes. A special emphasis was put on the knowledge representation model XTT2 and the rule-based inference engine HeaRTDroid.
In the afternoon, the students were given the opportunity to internalize the teaching content by practically working on exercise tasks in the computer lab.
The next days, further lectures will be given by Prof. Dietmar Seipel of University of Würzburg, and Salvador Abreu of Universidade de Évora, Portugal.
